Matland býður upp á lífrænt vottað kjöt frá Biobú. Í lífrænni ræktun er bannað að nota tilbúinn áburð og illgresis- og skordýraeitur. Þá eru strangari reglur um aðbúnað dýra.
Kjötið frá Biobú er af gripum sem er slátrað í Sláturhúsi Vesturlands í Brákarey í Borgarnesi. Eina sláturhúsið á Íslandi sem er með lífræna vottun í stórgripaslátrun.
